Malcolm Netburn is chairman and CEO of CDS Global. Since joining the company in February 2007, Malcolm has provided thought leadership to the various industries served by CDS Global, and has been a featured speaker at conferences throughout these industries.

Malcolm has over 25 years of experience with magazine, newspaper, book and media companies. Before joining CDS Global, he was a founding partner of Netburn McGill, a New York-based consulting firm that he helped establish in 1986.

A graduate of The George Washington University, Malcolm previously served in executive roles at Chemical Week Associates, Hart Publications, the Christian Science Monitor, the National Wildlife Federation and Scholastic.

Kenneth J. Barloon is senior vice president, chief financial officer of CDS Global. He also holds the titles of assistant treasurer and assistant secretary for CDS Global.

In this position, Ken oversees all financial and legal areas for the company. He is also responsible for Human Resources and Facilities and Office Services Management.

Ken joined CDS Global in April 1979 as a staff accountant. From 1982 to 1987, he was assistant controller. He was appointed to vice president, resident controller and chief financial officer in October 1987. In July 2002 he was promoted to his current post.

Before joining CDS Global, Ken was with the Migrant Action Program, where he was a staff accountant. Ken received his bachelor's degree from Simpson College in 1989. He is a member of the Institute of Management Accountants and is the company representative for the Iowa Taxpayer's Association. He has also served on the Simpson College Nominating Committee.

Dave Dutch is senior vice president of Business Solutions at CDS Global. In this role, he is responsible for the company’s order management and product fulfillment, remittance and lockbox processing and On-Demand solutions, leading a team of account management, sales and support staff.

Dave joined CDS Global in January 2010 with a wealth of experience in sales, marketing and operations. Prior to joining CDS Global, he worked with a number of companies within the software and telecommunications industries such as CoreComm, Reynolds & Reynolds, Broadwing Communications, Level 3 Communications and Vignette.

Dave graduated with honors from the United States Naval Academy with a degree in ocean physics and received his Master of Business Administration degree from Michigan State University.

Nancy Gessmann is senior vice president, Enterprise Solutions for CDS Global. In this position, Nancy is responsible for Enterprise Data Solutions, Enterprise Reporting Solutions, Conversion, Postal Affairs and Project Management. She is also responsible for the CDS Global Operations facilities, Call Centers and Data Capture locations in Boone, Des Moines and Harlan, Iowa; Bethlehem, Pa.; and Prescott, Ariz., and for the Lettershops in Des Moines, Tipton and Wilton, Iowa; the Des Moines Distribution Centers; and Document Technologies. She is also responsible for CDS Global’s Canadian operations.

Nancy began her career at CDS Global in 1982 and held several management positions before being named the general manager of the Harlan facility in 1990. She was named vice president in 2002 and attained her current position in 2009.

Prior to joining CDS Global, Nancy worked at a weekly “Shoppers Guide” publication and printing company. Her community involvement includes six years on the Harlan City Council and various city-related boards and committees. She was named Harlan's Citizen of the Year in 1994.

Nancy is a member of The Association for Work Process Improvement (TAWPI).

Jamey Heinze is vice president of Demand Generation Marketing at CDS Global and is responsible for driving awareness and interest in CDS Global’s products and services in emerging markets.

A graduate of Penn State University, Jamey has 20 years of experience in technology sales and marketing and has held marketing, product management and sales positions at companies such as Xerox, Level 3 Communications, Broadwing Communications and Open Text/Vignette.

Mike Luksan is vice president of sales for Magazines & Media at CDS Global. In this role, he is responsible for the company’s new and ancillary sales and contract renewals for the publishing industry.

Mike joined CDS Global in 1991 and has served a number of our clients in account management roles. He has also held sales positions in both the consumer and business-to-business publishing arenas of the company. Prior to joining CDS Global, Mike worked in account management for the largest privately held insurance broker administrator in the United States.

An Iowa native, Mike received his degree from Drake University.

Dennis Luther is vice president of Contract Administration for CDS Global.

Dennis joined CDS Global in 1985 as an account director. From 1987 to 1988, he was director of Publisher Services for Associations and Fundraising. In 1988, Dennis was appointed director of Marketing and attained his current position in November 1997. Before joining CDS Global, Dennis was a retail manager and was self-employed in the agribusiness industry.

Dennis received his formal education at Iowa State University and the University of Iowa. He is a member of the Fulfillment Management Association, the Treasury Management Association and is a past board member of Central Iowa F.S., Inc. He served the City of Adel, Iowa, for three years as a city councilman.

Sarah Parkes is group managing director of CDS Global’s operations in Europe and Australia.

Sarah joined CDS Global in 1990 following an early career in the financial industry, where she held a variety of posts at leading city banks. In 1996, she was appointed director of Circulation for CDS Global in the U.K., with responsibility for the company’s large consumer clients. In 1999, she became deputy managing director and was promoted to managing director in 2006. Sarah was named to her current position in February 2010.

Nancy Roehrkasse is chief workforce officer for CDS Global. Nancy is responsible for all Workforce functions, including benefits and benefits administration, employee relations, recruitment and global training.

Nancy has been in the human resources field for over 30 years. She started her career at CDS Global in 1991 as director of Human Resources, a position she held until being named to her current position in 2007. Prior to joining CDS Global, Nancy was the director of Human Resources for Heritage Communications.

Nancy holds her Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification and is a current member and former board member of the Central Iowa chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management. She is also a member of the Simpson College Business Advisory Committee and has a master’s degree in personnel and counseling from Drake University.

Beth Roy

Beth Roy is vice president, Magazines & Media for CDS Global. In this position, Beth oversees all account management groups for CDS Global consumer publishing clients.

Beginning her career at CDS Global as a marketer in Creative Mailing Solutions, Beth has since led the account management teams of a number of CDS Global clients, including National Wildlife, Disney, August Home, Reiman, Businessweek, Christianity Today and more. In 2000, she was the account executive responsible for converting Reader’s Digest magazine.

Beth has also played a key role in several strategic CDS Global initiatives, including a partner test with our publishers to utilize data mining for intelligent marketing opportunities and the creation of a new digital platform strategy.

Prior to joining CDS Global, Beth was the district manager for a national printing company. She graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a degree in Business/Marketing. Beth also serves as the executive secretary for the Fulfillment Management Association.

Kristin Runyan is vice president and chief information officer at CDS Global. In this role, she is responsible for executing the company’s technology transformation and bringing leadership and strategic vision to the Information Technology team. Kristin’s responsibilities also include Product Management, which is dedicated to ensuring CDS Global provides the products and services that will continue to lead the company into the future.

Kristin has significant knowledge in technology implementation and product management and brings experience in these capacities from her work at companies such as Southwestern Bell, Level 3 Communications and Open Text/Vignette.

A certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Kristin holds a bachelor’s degree from Texas Christian University and an MBA from Saint Louis University.

Chris Simpson is vice president, general manager of CDS Global’s operations in Canada.

Chris joined CDS Global after beginning her publishing career in 1978 at Southam Business Publications in Human Resources. A year later, she was promoted to manager of Planning and Development in the Circulation department. In 1996, she joined MacLean Hunter (Rogers Media) as director of Business Magazine Circulation. Chris joined CDS Global in 2004 as vice president of Client Services and attained her current position in 2009.

Eileen White is vice president, Global Marketing & Communications for CDS Global. In this position, Eileen supports CDS Global’s commitment to be marketing-driven and is responsible for the company’s global marketing strategy and all internal and external communications.

Eileen joined CDS Global in 1987 and has held many substantial leadership positions within the company including Workforce manager for Operations, director of Creative Mailing Solutions, market manager for Enterprise Data Solutions and client sales director for Client Development Services. As director of Marketing, she served as a key executive successfully developing, organizing and launching the company’s marketing strategy.
